The Bouvier National!!!

A couple weeks ago I got to go to Vermont with my friends Kobe and Eragon. Getting there took soooooooo long and I was stuck riding in the box for days. It seemed like we were never going to get there, I don’t understand what took so long for mama-Mo to let me out of the box. But boy, when she let me out, I was so excited to see her... “the ma, the ma!” I was so excited I kept biting her so she would know how much I love her.  Once we arrived in Vermont, I was set. The weather was great, it was cool like Tahoe but different smells, lots of different smells.

New Toys
On our first day my mama-Mo gave me a new toy, another toy that looks like me. She said this one was mine and something about not playing with the one at home because it was Blades. I’m still wondering when I’m gonna meet this Blade dude so I can ask why I can’t have his toy. “Phuey”, but now I have my own. “ha ha Blade I’m not gonna share with you.”

Guess What? Then I got another toy, my mama-Lee gave me a green hairy man. Boy he is fun to shake. I bite him. And I shake him until he cant play no more. I already pulled out that noisy thing in his belly. “mmmm” I don’t know why but the mom’s gave me the goodies. I was happy as a New England, um... Clam. No wait bouvier. That’s right, bouvier.

Bouv Heaven
Anyway there was a lot of other dogs like me there, "Wooo Whooo!" I was in heaven. I was sad though because I didn’t get to meet and play with any of them, but I did run into my sister Lillith. She’s not a baby anymore, like me. Mom says were big girls now. :-). My sister Lilith is supposed to send me some pictures when she won in sweeps. Mom says it’s called “Best Opposite in Sweepstakes” and it was a big deal. I don’t know what it all means, I just thought she looked pretty and we got to run around the ring together. I hope I see her again soon but I’m telling the mom, “next time we get to play” because I’m the boss! I did get to play with my travel partners, Kobe and Eragon. Eragon is my new friend, he is handsome and smells nice but best of all, he likes to play too. We played a lot. I think I might have been a little to bossy with him, but hey I’m the boss, right?

My Turn to Run Around the Ring
Before we went to Vermont and every time we went to dog-class mama-Mo would make me “practice”. Practice??? At first I didn’t know why we were always running in circles and standing still, but finally she told me it was to get ready for Vermont. “Whats a Vermont, I’d think?” But now I know. In Vermont, me and the ma ran around in circles and stood still three times. Boy was I tired after that. On the second day, there was a lady and she watched me run in circles. I was happy to run with the ma and since it was just me and her, ahhhhh, I chewed on her clothes. Yep. I do that sometimes because I like it, but the ma doesn’t seem to like it much. Hmm, oh well. Anyway, we ran around with some other girls and then the lady pointed to me and the ma! The ma jumped up and was very happy. Then we got a pretty ribbon! My mama-Mo gave me a big kiss and said I was a good girl. The really cool part was that the ma and me, well we did good! I was so excited, I bit my ma’s bumms. “Hehehe.”

“What, another day and I have to run in circles again?” That’s what I was trying to ask the ma when she started combing my hair again. But this time was different, there were other (“eh, hem”) ladies like myself and we ran around a bunch of times. More than I have run before. But it wasn’t the same lady, it was somebody else. The man he made me and the ma run around a lot. I thought it was never going to end but when it did... The man pointed to us and that’s when the ma jumped really high in the air. She jumps almost as good as me. Me and the ma were really excited and we got a another pretty ribbon, a purple one! My ma was so happy, she hugged her friends and they all smiled like the ma. I don’t exactly, but the ma says that what we did was very special and exciting. After that, the ma smiled a lot and gave me many, many kisses. “I like kisses!”

I have a lot of friends I need to give a big bouv kiss and say Thanks!”
Mama-Sue & Tony for doing my hair and helping the ma.
Mama-Lee & Dave for letting me go live and play with the ma, I like her.
My friend Eragons mom and dad (Cynthia and Don), thanks for helping me and the ma and for letting me play with my new friend.
And to all the nice people who smiled us and said, congrats... “thanks and I’m glad to have met you!”

“Thanks for the memories and I hope to see you all soon!!!”

The Puppies Arrived!

8 Puppies for Juno & Kobe

"Wooo Whooo!"
3 boys and 5 girls! Happy, healthy puppies delivered on Tuesday 9/22. Mama-Mo and mama-Lee started at 2:20 am and Juno finished whelping with "White collar" boy at 10:30 in the morning. Boy, I was worried about my sissy, Juno.

Check out the recent photo of me and my sister saying "Hi" to the babes. If you want to know more, check out Susants Bouviers where the puppies are growing. They smell funny, but they sure are cute. "Puppy Love!"

Summer Lovin' 09

Not a big fan of summer... what is up with all the hot air. "Arrrg! Don't like it, bring back the cold, soft stuff." My mom is always telling me to drink lots of water, I like water... its best when I get to swim in it and chase the sprinklers.

Sacramento River
We went to the river one day, "Eww, dirty, but fun." That guy on the car, oh boy did I want to chase him but I can't swim so well and my mom puts me on a leash so I don't go to far out in the water. "That sucks mom."

Check Out My Modeling Skills

Modeling huh, "ya, I'm a model". hahahaha. No really, my mom needed a stand in for my handsome friend, Kobe. This guy named Josh was going to photograph Kobe so mom said, "lets use aim for stand in". Mom says she loved the way they turned out and the best part is they weren't planned, it just happened. We sent the photos to my other mommas, Lee and Sue so they can see how much I've grown up.

A Future Career in Doghouse Magazine?
Don't know, maybe... still thinking about it.

Me and My Sisters

"Hey! Check Us Out!"

Yep, there we are... me and two of my sisters Lillith and Annie. I'm wearing the green ribbon. There were 10 of us and I hope I get to meet up with some of the others soon. I met my brother at the Bouvier Specialty in April. We both won on the same day, it was so cool. I'll tell you about it another day. Mark's in sunny SoCal chillin' out with the chicks. Lillith lives in Missouri with her other Bouv friends and I might go to Vermont soon. I hope to see her there. Annie doesn't live far from me, I chatted her up back in April at the Sacramento Dog Show, she is a blast! My mom says maybe we can meet up with her again soon when it is not so hoootttt and play! "Yea, that would be cool!!!"

BCNC Specialty

Wow, What a Weekend!

Boy, was my mom nervous. But we did it, and I had fun. There were many bouviers there and I met many new friends, including 2 pugs. Funny faces pugs have but they are sure a lot fun! My weekend started with a lot of brushing, brushing and more brushing. And scissors, scissors and blah, blah, blah. That is how I feel when I'm on that grooming table thing. "Stand stay" says mom over and over again. Only once in awhile she tells me what a good girl I am.

Hello, mom, a little more praise please."Arrrgg!"

Anyway, check out all the photos of me, Juno (my big-sis), Johnny (my big-bro) and Mark my littermate. "Thanks Rebecca for the photos!"

"See ya around the ring!"

My First Winter

Snow, snow, snow. I love the snow! My mom kind of hates the dingle-berries that get stuck on my legs. But she lets me play in it anyway. Yeaaa! I love the stuff.

Hiking Echo Lake

My First Hike

Okay, so it was only a little over 1 mile, but it was sooooo much fun. The day started out with JK being bummed all the new snow melted so he couldn't ride that skate-thing. It was uncommonly sunny in Tahoe that day and then he said, "Lets go hike around the lake." "Whoooo-hoooo!" I love going on walks. "I'm in."

So the first thing I had to do was cross a bridge over the water. SCARY!!! I could see through the walkway and I didn't like it. Uh-ah, no way, but mom said "your ok" and guess what, I did it! It was so much fun, we walked along on the trail and down to the lake and I discovered the lake. Oh my my, that was cold water. I know what water is. I drink it, it good. My mom makes me get in the tub cuz she says I smell, the water is warm and it feels good. I don't drink this water though, I did that once and, "Ick!" I don't know why my mom doesn't like my smell, I do.

Hey, check out my photos from my first real hike. I can't wait for next time.
